Some very good points here! Even though it is important to have copyright information on a websites to act as a deterrent, I believe that we the tools available to remover watermarks as well as other tools means that if someone is going to steal content from your website then they will any way.

Of course if someone is looking to steal your work and they have all the means, they will most likely “get away” with it for a short moment. The key point here is to Prevent the code and design theft as much as possible. We’re not aiming to fully stop the process of stealing work from others, but to implement certain practices and techniques that will definitely “discourage” the majority of the bad apples.

As of now, we can only rely on any means possible to hinder the process of code or design based plagiarism..these are simply actions you can take against Internet Thieves.

Good article.But you know,there are watermark removing tools to remove watermark on images.what if they remove and use?I think we can prevent them to some extent only…
