Yes most of us can hardly pronounce the word “Skeuomorphism” however whether we like it or not we meet it dozens if not hundreds of times in our daily life. Skeuomorphism  is defined as “a design feature that is carried forth from the original version of a product in order to make people feel comfortable with the new device..”  Yes you are probably thinking Apple, since their iOS and OS X are filled with things that look like everyday objects.
