Is the icon being used by sharethis the established icon for sharing? Is it to be considered the equivalent of the rss icon?

Thanks for your response Cy. The reason I raised this is because I stumbled across the Share Icons website when I was researching whether to use ShareThis, AddThis, or AddToAny. I think we are going to go with ShareThis and customise the icon.

Interesting. I don't know if ShareThis's icon has been universally established as the sharing symbol for the web. I guess it could be, eventually. I mean, I certainly prefer it over say, a speech balloon.
