Theoretically there is no limit to the amount of plugins or apps you can add to Wordpress. However, there is a point where all the plugins or applications you add or install begin to bog down on the performance of the software. Therefore, despite the no limit, you should limit yourself to several of your favorites and not more to keep the software's performance level high.
