When creating a website for a client, do you first create a wireframe? Why or why not?

For the most part I try to create a wireframe for every website I develop. It helps you visually how you're going to structure your website from the beginning. Of course, nothing is set in stone, and the way you envision the website to be structured may not be the way your client would like it to be. This is where wireframing gives you and your client the chance to collaborate and bring new ideas to the table for a much smoother design process.
