How big is the internet?

How big is the internet?

There are 1.46 billion internet users, Microsoft’s Bing has put the number of web pages at over 1 trillion and Google has indexed more than one trillion web addresses. What does this mean? Well. if you spent just one minute reading every website in existence, you’d be kept busy for 31,000 years, with no sleep. No, the internet is not big, it is enormous. This is an interesting visual map of how active Twitter users actually are. One of the most interesting facts of this map was that 20% of all accounts are dead, and only 5% of users have over 100 followers. Maybe Twitter isn’t as big or as popular as we like to think. I still love it, all the same.
