CSS3 Cheat Sheet and a jQuery Keyboard with some Creative Advertising

Todays top design news is dominated by CSS, with the first comprehensive CSS3 Cheat Sheet available to download and a great tutorial that will teach you how to create a keyboard using CSS and jQuery. Of course, we have some inspiration in the form of creative advertising from Thomas Lavezzari.

CSS 3 Cheat Sheet

CSS 3 Cheat Sheet

This is a must download for all web designers, it is a CSS 3 Cheat Sheet has a complete listing of all the properties, selectors types and allowed values in the current CSS 3 specification from the W3C. Each property is provided in a section that attempts to match it with the section (module) that it is most actively associated within the W3C specification. Next to each property is a listing of the expected values that that property takes (normal text shows named values it accepts and italics shows value types it will accept).

Creating a Keyboard with CSS and jQuery

Creating a Keyboard with CSS and jQuery

This is one of those really cool CSS tutorials that you will bookmark in the hope, that some day, you will have the time to actually use it. Yes, it really is a fully functional keyboard and it includes “action” keys (caps lock, shift, and delete) which dynamically changes the keyboard when clicked.

Wow! I love that first image by Thomas Lavezzari. It looks really great. Only thing is the Sky.it logo on the white background is messing it up. Would have been better if it was directly on the blue background.

Regarding the jQuery keyboard, it’s really cool but I wonder where I’ll ever be able to use it?

I don’t think of these as “cheat sheets”, as there’s really no test so you aren’t cheating. But these are some great reference sheets.. ah whatever, these are awesome!
