ColorSuckr Launches and 40+ Great Photoshop Tutorials

A cool new feature-rich web based color app, called ColorSuckr, has recently launched, with impressive reviews. And the always critically acclaimed Noupe, has posted 40 high quality advanced Photoshop tutorials, for graphic designers.

ColorSuckr, a recently launched web service, is a color app that extracts the 12 most common colours from any images and displays each color on a new page with the HEX, RGB and web safe color. That is the main function of the app, it also offers a hell of a lot more features:

  • Flickr integration
  • A Firefox extension to make it super-easy (right click images & go)
  • Adobe .ACO swatch file downloads
  • Color schemes suggestions from Adobe Kuler
  • Drag and drop the colour results
  • A simple API via RSS, JSON and XML
  • Permalinks to image results (+ short url generator)

    ColorSuckr is pretty cool. The color scheme suggestion for me was from colourlovers.com though.
