Free Photoshop Brushes – Paper
I was getting tired of using the same textures over and over whenever I needed paper in a design. So I created this set of high-res Photoshop brushes that are great for creating realistic looking paper.
These brushes were created from photos of wrinkled paper, so along with the nice shadows from the wrinkles, they also possess a very natural looking grain and texture. There are seven brushes in all.

In Photoshop, after adjusting the levels of my image, I selected an area of the image with the Elliptical Marquee Tool, then feathered the edges.
Once I had my selection the way I wanted, I selected Edit -> Define Brush Preset.
