400+ Time Saving Photoshop Actions
Photoshop Actions are extremely useful in both saving time as well as learning new features that you may not know. They can be used to help standardize your final project better, cut down on repetitive tasks, and to assist you in a bit of creative inspiration. We have collected a handful of great (and free) downloadable PS Actions in this article and also included a nice tutorial on creating your own Actions.
This is a guest post by Omar the Radwan.

‘rawimage’ from deviantart.com has made a great Polaroid Generator Action. Not only do the finalized photos look wonderful, but the ‘finisher’ action adds a bit of random streaks and bevels that make each picture look unique.

But the effect looks too good to pass up.

cheating?? I think once you have enough confidence on your skills set, and your are actually getting paid to deliver graphics on a schedule, these are priceless. I used to think this way, but now i realize that just because you can make some cool shiny effect on photoshop the long way, it does not mean its good design, or that it has any use at all.
Art is not necessarily graphic design, and artist need to realize that the work they produce is for the client, not your ego.

@enos – You are right. Everything changes when you are doing work for clients. I used to feel this way about stock images and art, but sometimes it just makes more sense to not create everything from scratch.

thanks a lot for these great Photoshop resources. It was a really helpful article for my previous graphic art design.
I also love the article about How-To “Make your own MacBook Air Icon with Photoshop” – please just search about it if you have a Mac…
