Please help me.. How can I enable to use 3D in Photoshop CS4. Cause it is disabled . I'm trying to use it but I can't. What must I do?

I'm a graphic designer learning as 3.0 (mostly object oriented programming). Know of any tutorials/sites that might be helpful? My ultimate goal is a quiz that reads from an external xml, displays the questions randomly and keeps track of your score.
