What's the best way to download an entire website into static html pages w/ all links intact (to be uploaded on a host without server side scripting support)?

I'm a graphic designer learning as 3.0 (mostly object oriented programming). Know of any tutorials/sites that might be helpful? My ultimate goal is a quiz that reads from an external xml, displays the questions randomly and keeps track of your score.
