There are always sites like Elance, oDesk and such if you're looking for small jobs. These sites are generally somewhat disreputable because of the amount of low-budget jobs, price-eroding designers from India and China, and cheap work done, but they work for little jobs here and there. If you want a larger job with more prestige, www.authenticjobs.com (by Cameron Moll, a respected designer) is a great place for major jobs, both full-time and freelance.
